When: November 25, 2025

Where: Grotto 101, 2605 Jones Road, Suite 101, Austin, TX

Starting at 7 pm with some bites and beverages. Performers may sign up to present their live art for the lolz and love of it. And then...a screening of Bait and Hook, the one-night only performance art event by e-coli that happened on November 1.

In the shadows of the season, come witness the experience again, including a Q&A with the artists afterward.

Here's what some brave audience members had to say about the production:

"Awesome...the range...chaotic, insanity, longing, comical wanting, rage, fear...captivating and crazy." --N.P.

"The VORTEX theater has blown my mind again with its late night performance of Bait & Hook! I witnessed the wild and phenomenally creative spectacle of the Xeno Twins (Chad Salvata & Heather Barfield) of the performance art troupe e-coli. It was a site never to be “unseen” if you know what I mean. Kudos to the complete commitment of the artists involved!" – Z.H.
